About the Founder
My name is Perpetua Omondi, and I'm a paediatric Occupational Therapist based in Nairobi, Kenya. My passion for helping children reach their full potential has shaped both my career and my life's work. I believe deeply that children make the world a better place, and supporting them to thrive is one of the most meaningful contributions we can make.
Where it All Began
My journey began in 2007 at Kenya Medical Training College, where I discovered my calling in paediatric Occupational Therapy. After graduating in 2009 and becoming registered with the Kenya Occupational Therapy Association, I immediately began working with children who needed it most—volunteering at a non-profit organization serving children with special needs from 2009 to 2012.
During my early professional years, something began to take shape. I envisioned a different model of care—one that would bring therapy directly to where children spend their days. In 2012, I started providing services to schools across Nairobi, and by 2019, that vision became Dynamic Occupational Therapy Ltd.
Professional Excellence
With over 18 years of experience in paediatric occupational therapy, I've remained committed to advancing my expertise. I completed my BSc in Occupational Therapy in 2022 and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. I am a registered Occupational Therapist with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC-UK) and the Occupational Therapists Council of Kenya (OTCoK), ensuring the highest standards of professional practice.
Our Mission
Today, our mission is simple but powerful: to provide convenient, accessible occupational therapy that meets children where they are—in their homes, schools, and everyday lives.
Why This Matters
Over my 18 years of practice, I've witnessed countless breakthrough moments: a child's first independent steps, the pride in their eyes when they master using utensils, the concentration as they produce their neatest handwriting, the pure joy as they dance with coordination at a school function, and the growing independence as they dress themselves.
These moments remind me why this work matters. Children make the world a better place, and every child deserves the opportunity to participate fully in life. I'm honored to walk alongside families on that journey.
I believe deeply that children make the world a better place, and supporting them to thrive is one of the most meaningful contributions we can make.
